Here
is a little information about us and why we have
decided to promote the Missouri Fox Trotter
breed......
We love our horses and we love to trail ride! We
feel there is nothing better than
seeing this
beautiful country that God has provided us with on
horseback.
We became interested in the MFT after a friend, who
happened to have the opportunity to train one, told us
they were a smooth horse to ride and had a great
disposition. Being the avid trail riders that we
are, we sure thought a smooth ride would be better.
We took this opportunity to try out the horse our
friend was training. Well, the rest is history;
we were hooked on the smooth ride and the gentle
disposition! We purchased our first Missouri
Foxtrotter in the year 2000. We were so
impressed with her disposition and gaits that we
purchased a second mare two months later. After
riding these gloriously smooth creatures, we decided
that they needed to be promoted in our area; not too
many people in this area had ever heard of a Missouri
Foxtrotter. We have such confidence in the
Missouri Foxtrotter that we have started a small
breeding operation. Our focus is on a good mind,
gentle disposition, correct gaits, nice conformation,
and a little color to complete the package.
The Missouri Foxtrotter truly is everything people
have said they are; they are easy-going, well-behaved,
and a Cadillac to ride.
If you see us out on the trails, please stop and say
hello. We would love to let you ride one of our
Missouri Foxtrotters. You won't be disappointed.
We invite you to stop in to meet us and
"RIDE THE GLIDE"
Below are some photos of us and a few of our Missouri
Foxtrotters.
